The Chaos Book Cover  By Rhea

In The Chaos, Adam lives with his grandma in London. He, like his mother, has the power to look at people and see the date of their deaths. He keeps a book of all the numbers he sees and the feelings he gets when seeing the numbers. However, things start to take a mysterious turn when he sees that many people are dying on the same day. He doesn’t know what is going on, but he knows that something big is going to happen. At the same time there is a girl named Sarah who has run away from home and now has a little daughter. In her dreams, she continues to see Adam taking away her daughter, though she has no idea who he is. Haunted by these dreams, she tries to continue and give her daughter a good life, but it is difficult since she is no longer at home. Adam and Sarah somehow find each other and try to figure out what is going on. But can they possibly change the fate of all those people?

The Chaos is a marvelous book. It is the second book in the series, after Numbers. The plot is interesting and unlikely, and everything seems to come together at the end. The book alternates between scenes from Adam and Sarah’s lives, which makes the story even better because one can see what is going on at the same time in both lives, and how that connects and impacts others. The ending is both happy and sad, and a complete surprise. It leaves the reader hanging slightly and waiting for the next book to continue from where this one left off. This is a great book!
