Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins is the second book in the series The Hunger Games. Katniss and Peeta are promised easy and carefree lives after winning the Hunger Games, just like every other victor.  However, after winning the Hunger Games by outsmarting the Capitol, they are seen as rebels in the districts.  Many of the districts are starting to fight against the Capitol and trying to gain freedom so that they can finally have easy lives.  This goes against everything that the Capitol has worked for years on, and they will not let this go unpunished.  President Snow has threatened Katniss that he will kill her family and loved ones if she cannot prove to the districts that rebelling is wrong, and that her actions at the Hunger Games were of love, not rebellion.  But one question haunts her thoughts.  Is rebelling really that wrong?

I would recommend this book to anyone, no matter what they like to read.  This book has a little of everything.  It has romance, the love triangle between Katniss, Peeta, and Gale.  It has comedy, like the many remarks between Katniss, Peeta, and Haymitch.  Of course, it has action, which is what the Hunger Games are all about.  So no matter who you are, READ THIS BOOK!!
