Little Pink Slips, by Sally Koslow [adult fiction]

Little Pink Slips is a novel about Magnolia Gold, a recently promoted editor in chief at Lady magazine. All was going well with magazine sales skyrocketing due to her changes, but once Darlene, another high up coworker at Lady suggests that they use Bebe Blake as their ticket to increased sales, Bebe is given her job and Magnolia watches as everything dwindles. Bebe Blake is a loudmouth TV personality that is an overall fashion don’t, such as one of those people on reality love shows, whose ideas and personality will lead to disaster. Magnolia loves her job as editor and is forced to do what she can to make the magazine a success. Read the book  to see how the story plays out between Magnolia, ex-editor in chief and Bebe, all around fashion don’t.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loved the book The Devil Wears Prada because the main character is not a fashionable person but has to be to work at the magazine. The plot is similar in which there is an undesirable boss, Bebe Blake in this case, and how the main character has to solve the problem. I give this book 4.5 stars because I really liked it.
