Prom Anonymous, by Blake Nelson [teen fiction]

I just finished reading Prom Anonymous. This book is about three girls and their upcoming prom. Laura, Jace, and Chloe were all best friends in the eighth grade. But once they get to high school things change. Jace is the best athlete of the school and she’s crushing on the new California kid who plays tennis. Laura has a boyfriend who is now a senior, even though she’s a junior. She already went to his junior prom, which was great and romantic, but she’s afraid this one won’t be as perfect because all he wants to do is party. And Chloe is an artistic poet who doesn’t care about any prom. But Laura wanted her old 8th grade friends to share the experience together, so she agreed. Laura has her boyfriend. Jace can ask the new kid to go with her since anyone will say yes to her. But what will Chloe do? Laura has an idea, which will involve a lot of planning. An anonymous date for Chloe will do. Read this book to see how prom goes for all three girls.

I would rate this book with five stars! I truly thought it was well put-together. Each girl had her  own problem to worry about. It was so intense for each girl that I couldn’t put the book down. If you’re into drama and humor, you will definitely enjoy this book.
